Save valuable construction time, every day

No building site runs perfectly to plan. What if you could shorten your construction schedule by weeks — or even months — reduce scheduling risks, and improve safety for your workers?

Typically, less than 30% of workers’ time during construction adds direct value to the project, with vertical logistics being a major bottleneck for efficient and smooth workflows. KONE’s solutions for improved construction logistics can help your project get delivered as smoothly as possible by making it easier, safer and faster to move people and materials.

Keep your project moving, from the ground up

Improve jobsite experience

With vertical transportation inside the building, workers and materials can be moved more efficiently compared to external hoists — reducing waiting times, improving safety, and creating a more efficient construction site.

Construction time use

Construction time use of building’s own elevator

The building’s permanent passenger elevator, protected by cladding, is used throughout construction. It transports workers and materials inside the building instead of using external hoists, making vertical transportation faster, safer, and more cost-efficient.

When construction is complete, the cladding is removed, revealing the finished, pristine elevator car. In most cases, it is already ready for building users. For larger elevators, final interior design elements are then finalized.

Digital logistics platform

Smarter site management with KONE SiteFlow

KONE SiteFlow is a digital construction logistics management tool that maximizes the efficiency of your construction elevators and hoists. It gives site managers real-time visibility and control over key operations — helping reduce waiting times and keeping workers productive. When integrated with KONE JumpLift™, it can expand elevator capacity by 15% and has been shown to reduce floor cycle times from 2.5 weeks to just 4 days in some projects.

Self-climbing elevator

Start moving earlier with KONE JumpLift™

KONE JumpLift™ enables early use of the elevator shaft in high-rise buildings of 10 floors or more, even before the building reaches full height. A self-climbing construction elevator, it grows with the structure and supports continuous vertical transport of people and materials — while providing greater load capacities and speeds than rack-and-pinion hoists. It operates regardless of weather conditions and allows the building façade to be closed sooner. Proven to cut construction time by weeks or even months — in one project, KONE JumpLift™ cut six months off the build schedule.

Hassle-free installation from start to finish

Our job is to make your job easier. We make sure everything is in place for a smooth, trouble-free elevator installation process — working with you from rock-solid planning all the way through to handover, with no surprises.

Rock-solid planning

Getting everything done on time and on budget relies on rock-solid preparation. Long before we arrive on site we use digital planning techniques — including Building Information Modeling (BIM) — to prepare for the installation process. Every project has a dedicated, accredited project manager with solid experience of running similar projects.

Efficient installation

When it comes to installing your equipment, our goal is to keep everything tidy and efficient so that all personnel get their work done safely and on schedule. The KONE elevator installation process doesn't require scaffolding, which cuts costs and minimises disruption to other construction work on site. All installation technicians receive regular safety training and undergo safety audits.
