Ho Chi Minh City, November 9, 2021 - KONE Vietnam was honored to welcome the Ambassador of Finland to Vietnam Mr. Keijo Norvanto, Deputy Ambassador of Finland to Vietnam Mr. Touko Piiparinen in the new workspace at Ho Chi Minh City.
Accompanying the delegation were Ms. Mac Le Thu Hong, Senior Advisor to the Embassy and Mr. Trung Nguyen, Commercial Counselor of Finland. The delegation received a warm welcome from Business Development Director Mr. Robert Granholm and KONE Vietnam employees in Ho Chi Minh City office.
During the meeting, Mr. Robert Granholm introduced an overview of KONE Group in global and KONE Vietnam. Ambassador Keijo Norvanto was also introduced to the brand-new workspace of KONE Vietnam employees in Ho Chi Minh City. This is one of KONE's important initiatives to provide a safe working environment, improve health & wellbeing and implement the strategic goal of “Creating a great place to work”.
The office is designed in a modern style in an open space, helping to increase the connection between departments and employees in the company. The design of meeting rooms, training rooms and common areas also focuses on creating a sense of comfort, warmth and convenience, embodying the four core values of Care – Collaboration towards Customer – Courage to change, constantly aiming higher.
The Ambassador expressed his delight and impression with the visit. He also thanked KONE for the warm welcome and said that the Embassy of Finland always provide services to Finnish companies, contributing to the success and sustainable development of KONE in Vietnam in the coming time.
